Over time, I have planted all manner of ornamentals, shrubs and trees. Herein is a record of all of the plants that I still believe to be alive. These include basic updates on the general well-being if a given plant as well as photo's and other items.

This thing is clearly going to be a statement early on. I would imagine that, by the end of next year, it will be a tremendous plant.

With my constant battle to distinguish between the narrow leaved evergreens, I thought it would be a good measure to get a close-up of this one.

Update - Japanese Cryptomeria in the Leap Year

Year 1 it sleeps, Year 2 it creeps and what happens in Year 3? We call it LEAP!

To say that this thing leaped in year 3 is definitely an understatement. In truth, we are still in the second growing season, so it is really Year 2.

It has really taken off and is in the perfect spot for this kind of growth. The purpose of this tree is to begin my screen planting for this side of the yard. This tree will definitely contribute.
