Bed Re-arrangement

It's mid-September, the perfect time for moving garden plants in central Virginia. I am a bit to the east of Richmond, Virginia, so we have another month before the average first frost.

Today, I primarily focused on moving some of my smaller daylilies, such as the <a href = "http://www.varinagardens.com/index.php?page=mypla&myplantid=388" target = "blank">Eenie Fanfare</a> and <a href = "http://www.varinagardens.com/index.php?page=mypla&myplantid=330" target = "_blank">Fragrant Treasures</a>. I divided both, and began a bit of a front border spread towards the Northern End of Boog's Stretch. This will serve two purposes, allowing for a good front color in this area (purple and yellow) as well as increasing the chances of getting a seed pod off of Fragrant Treasures, a daylily that does very well for me but from which I have yet to get seeds from.
